DURHAM, N.C. — WRAL’s Ken Smith was among the judges Saturday for a taste of the Caribbean in downtown Durham.
The inaugural North Carolina Jerk Festival drew families for tasty treats, a 5K run, games and other entertainment with a hint of the islands.
A chef from Jimmie’s Jerk Chicken out of Atlanta saw his chicken judged to be the best.
